Help Eliminate Poverty, Make a Microloan to An Entrepreneur
Sites like kiva.org I imagine may have the potential to level the playing field a little bit between first and third world countries. It may be a bit naive to think that but with the net, lines of communication (and even loans) are opened up between people that otherwise would never come in contact. This bypasses the natural and traditional boundaries. With these kinds of connections, it seems there are a lot more possibilities yet unexplored.

My friend has a daughter who is in high school but already starting to make microloans to third world entrepreneurs. She’s learning a ton about investing and the challenges of building a business. Kiva is a great service.
